This 336lb block of yellow sandstone is said to be the stone which, in biblical times, Jacob slept upon and received messages from God. Irish, Scottish and English monarchs have been enthroned upon the stone since 400AD. Taken from Scotland by King Edward in 1296, the stone was returned to Scotland in 1996. It now sits in Edinburgh Castle.

He has a raspy blues singer voice, being from Chicago, and played and sang the blues in coffee houses in his college days. In a few of the songs like Rake Krsna you can hear the Chicago tradition. The lovely Mahalaxmi sings sweet pure innocents on Hallowed Be Thy Names and Koda Nitai, to contrast Sura's mood. The amazing Christo and Adwaita play percussion, which slowly brings the chanting to its' crescendo. Eddie Young plays the bass and cello, while Marty is the master of sitar. Several men and women make up the background and harmony vocals to make this CD soulful, mellow and timeless.

Doctor's debut album, Is This Home , in part grew out of her experience as a drummer for movement/dance workshops (Gabrielle Roth): many of the tracks began as live improvisation in the musical accompaniment for such workshops, weaving together ambient and percussive elements, looping samples, field recordings and aspects of traditional song writing. In the process of writing Home she fused this with a focus on travelling and displacement as a way of asking what it is that makes our surrounding mental and physical environment home for each of us.
